Hotel Pousada Da Mangueira - Salvador

Booked this for our holiday and it met expectation. The staff were service-minded and genuinely helpful from arrival to departure. It had practical and comfortable location, right by Historical part as well as shopping malls...

The setting is fantastic and magnificent, so close to historic Pelourinho historic center, the old town-about 2 minutes walk away from sights, and the Pousada da Mangueira. It's a 10-15 minute walk from House of Carnival, one of the tourist spots.

Strengths: Welcome, kindness an explanation given by poussada's staff, proximity of pelourinhou and others sites, Pool for child, Breakfast, Calm of the aera, Security feeling inside the pousadas.

1/Whereas pousada is very nice and cosy, houses in close neighbourhood are not well maintained. It gives a "gloomy" feeling to this aera which could be better valorised. 2/TV reception was not working very well. 3/the Swimming pool tiles could be better cleaned up.

The location was fab, just a short walk away from a running elevator. Visited few places in the centre, just a short stroll away from the hotel.

The location is super with a brilliant view next to the historic center and the old town. the staff is good and fantastic. - Breakfasts with a view on the old town are great.

Very flexible and helpful employees (be it on changing the airport transfer on short notice, arriving at night, giving advice on sites, restaurants, etc. around the city, check-out time), very nice view on the old part of Salvador

Well located to see Salvador/Pelourinho. Cozy atmosphere. Charming, helpful and gentle staff.

had a great time in salvador and pousada da mangueira made it even better! the staff were super helpful and spoke english. perfect location for exploring the old town and loved the pool. easy laundry service too. highly recommended!

Well it was well located for us personally as well wanted to be in/near the old city, but what i liked the most was the Staff - very helpful and happy.

Clean place located in a charming Colonial style building in a great area. the staff here is friendly and awesome! 😊 the breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of food options available.

The service was excellent. The guests were nice and the location was perfect. No complaints. Defenitely reccoment this hotel.

Claudio was awesome with tips and advice. Spent as much time as needed to make sure we were taken care of. Even took our friends to a recommended sushi bar in his own car. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Building was well cared for and a quick walk to Pelorinho. Would definitely recommend.

The breakfast here is delicious with homemade treats and fresh local fruits, and it's in a great location.

We liked the fact that the staff explained to us spontaneously what to visit, the good tips about what to do in the city, special thanks to Claudio. Smiles too. Plus, the location near the old city is very good. The breakfast is very nice. They are part of our good memories in Salvador de Bahia.
